Welcome to Avenue Primary Academy

The aims of this website are to provide prospective parents, carers and children with useful information about the school, especially if you are looking around Sutton schools to see which is the most appropriate for your child; to provide prospective staff with information about why they would want to work here; and to give current parents, staff, governors and pupils up-to-date information at the click of a button!

Mission Statement

Avenue Primary Academy is a welcoming school where everyone is valued equally in a safe and supportive environment.  It recognises and develops the potential of each and every person, empowering them and giving them the confidence to play a positive role in society.  Our pupils aim high, believe they can succeed, take responsibility for their own learning and develop as independent learners who think carefully and reflectively.

NSPCC - The Underwear Rule

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The NSPCC promotes ‘The Underwear Rule’ Campaign which aims to raise awareness of the importance of talking to children about keeping safe from sexual abuse. Avenue are supporting the NSPCC in their campaign and feel it is important to teach our children how to keep safe.
